Group Road Ride Time Change.

So usually right after the Logan To Jackson Hole race we stop doing our weekly group ride.  The weather has been so nice though we decided to keep going as long as it stays fair and we have adequate light.  To do this though we are going to have to bump up the start time.  Tomorrow plan on riding but we will be meeting at 5:45p.m. and leaving at 6:00p.m. or as close to it as we can.  See you all tomorrow, as always if you have any questions call 801-394-7700 or shoot us and email.

As usual with this summer the weather is up in the air for tonight.  That being said it looks OK and the temperature is rocking.  So we'll play it by ear, plan on meeting at 6:00p.m. as usual and we will try to leave no later than 6:30p.m..  If its raining, super windy, or it looks like eminent rain we're not rolling.  If its questionable give a call to the store so we don't miss you.  See you guys tonight.

Group Ride Looks Good, Thanks For A Great Sale!

Tonight for out weekly group road ride the weather looks good.  As I check various different weather sites everyone says there is a small chance of rain, but they've been saying that for the last like three weeks and nothing happens.  If it looks bad give a call or check the sites online.

On another note thanks for making us super busy last week for our annual summer sale.  A ton of folks picked up new bikes and gear just in time for fall riding. I can't wait for the cooler temperatures, riding is going to get really nice again.  See you all soon.

Group Road Ride, Fat Bike Rentals In!

The weather tomorrow looks like there is a chance of rain, but plan on the group road ride going unless the weather totally stinks.  If its looking bad keep an eye on the site, facebook, or give a call.

Not that we're even close to winter but in an effort to be ready this year so that all of you can get out and have an opportunity to ride a fat bike, we have a medium and a large Mukluk 3 for rental as we speak.  This a new emerging category of bike that is going to be even more mainstream this year and in years to come.  The shear number of models, levels, and styles available has near doubled since last year.  To say the least we are stoked.

Group Road Ride On, Trail Condidtions.

Well it looks like barring any unexpected weather we should be looking at great weather for a group road ride tomorrow.  Plan on meeting here at Skyline Cycle at 6:00p.m. and getting ready.  We will leave no later than 6:30p.m. and hopefully a little earlier so we don't run out of light.  See you guys all tomorrow.

This Sunday I rode up Wheeler Creek Canyon to check and see how the trail sare doing above.  They are with out a question still muddy as heck.  I know because I was bummed to see super muddy mountain bike tracks coming onto the old Snowbasin road right above the Art Nord parking lot.  I don't think people generally ride muddy trails with the intent of hurting them, but man it destroys a ton of traill work supper quick.  I guess know where to ride early season and if you see folks headed out onto something that may be muddy or is block off  in a nice way explain how bad it is for the trail.  Its up to us to help the trails so we can enjoy them later. As usual you guys rock see you out there.

We are excited because our jerseys have arrived and they look good, same cut and design as last year but on time.

We are supposed to start our group ride tomorrow so of course mother nature has decided to work with us weather wise, NOT! Looks like there is a good chance of rain tomorrow so if you are planning on coming check the website, facebook, or give a call to the store.  I will post by 4:00p.m whether we are riding tomorrow and will do the same throughout the rest of the year when there is questionable weather.  Well here's to hopping for good weather, see you guys soon.

Spring Summer Info, Group Ride, And Thanks For A Great Sale!!

Welcome to the 2013 riding season.  Thanks again for a wonderful turn out to or annual spring sale.  We set up just a ton of folks with new bikes and gear, looks like everyone is planning on a big riding season.

Group rides will start Wednesday May 1st.  We will meet at 6:00p.m. and leave at 6:30p.m. Plan on us riding every Wednesday through out the season unless there is a holiday or bad weather.  I will post any cancellations on the web site and on the Face Book account by 4:30p.m. the day of the ride.

Trails are starting to open up and be ride able as I type this.  Most of the Bonneville shoreline is ride able.  There may be a few muddy spots where it would be better to walk your bike rather than ride it.  If the trail looks muddy do everyone including yourself a favor and stay off it until its dry, damage done to trail systems this time of the year take forever to undo through the rest of the season and it give us a bad rap with trail managers.

I will post up trail digs as soon as I get them scheduled. Thanks for picking us as your bike store, we're excited for a great season.
