We had a great season teaching spin class and bicycle maintenance class with all of those that took the opportunity to come and get in better shape for the spring, or those that chose to expand their knowledge of bicycle mechanics.  Unfortunately both the spin class and the free bicycle maintenance classes have come to an end do just to the fact that we have run out of time as we enter into the busy season, thanks to all of you who visited us during the winter, and we look forward to a great season.  Matt

Bike Class, Saturday December 22nd, Derailleurs

So apparently the Mayans didn't know that we had planned a discussion about how to adjust derailleurs this Saturday and they scheduled a little event called the end of the world right before. I mean technically they scheduled first but do to the importance of this class we're going to ignore their event and go on as planned.

Saturday we will begin the process of working on derailleurs. During this class we will be discussing rear derailleurs and front derailleurs.  We will discuss different types of derailleurs, proper installation, limiting screws, cable tension, proper housing and then we will do actual adjustments on bicycles provided at the store.  Once again wear cloths that are capable of getting dirty. We will begin at 9:00a.m. and go until around 10:00a.m., come through the side double door on the north east side of the building.
